Warm, informed support, in Turkish and English.
Hello, I'm Özge Aydoğan, founder of Alya Doula Services. My journey began the moment my daughter was born, opening a brand new chapter in my heart and mind. During my own birth experience, I felt firsthand how alone and unsupported a woman can feel in this most special moment. That was the moment I felt a deep sense of responsibility to be part of the change, throughout this sacred process from pregnancy to newborn care.

Questions families ask first.
No. A doula does not carry out clinical assessments or clinical decisions. I sit alongside your NHS team and support you and your partner through what is happening.
The earlier in pregnancy you get in touch the better, as availability near due dates is limited. For postpartum-only support, later in pregnancy is fine too, but reaching out early gives us more time to plan.
Yes. I speak to the NHS team in English and to you in Turkish. Nothing is lost in translation, and your partner can follow the whole conversation.
Absolutely, and I prefer it. I work with your partner, not around them. My presence usually gives partners more space to be present, not less.
What people say afterwards.
Let's make a little room for your questions.
Tell me what kind of support you are looking for. We can begin with a simple conversation.
